Mari C. Rodriguez
Mari is the daughter of Cuban immigrants, having a diverse and accomplished background. Growing up in Miami, she earned an Honorary Doctorate from Trinity Seminary University and holds various certifications in real estate, aviation, and nonviolence philosophy. She has been a Cultural Ambassador for Walt Disney and the President of Iman’s Light Foundation, focusing on combating Fentanyl addiction and mental health issues. Mari has a long history of community advocacy, particularly in youth and education, serving in multiple PTA roles and organizing significant events and fundraisers. She co-founded PowerHouse Workshops and Consulting, addressing mental health and conflict resolution. Her accolades include the Trail Blazer Award and recognition from various civic and professional organizations. Despite her professional achievements, she considers her role as a mother her most significant.

Maria is the proud mother of four amazing & professional adult children and grandmother to two beautiful & smart girls. My family means the entire world to me!
She's been an entrepreneur for over 30 years, having owned and managed successful Title & Escrow Companies for over 20 years. Currently she's licensed as a Real Estate Professional in the State of Florida.
Maria is honored to play a crucial part in an organization dedicated to spreading hope and making meaningful impacts in people’s lives. By managing the finances means, she gets to ensure every dollar is used effectively, maximizing the Foundation's ability to support those in need and drive positive change in the community. It’s a responsibility she takes to heart, knowing that her contributions will help empower others and bring light into their darkest moments.

Mercy M. Preciado
Mercy is a Spiritual Counselor with a Master’s in Psychology, is dedicated to guiding others toward healing, hope, and transformation. She serves as Business Development Manager at a mental health facility, where she advocates for access to quality care and builds partnerships that expand community resources. In her role as Outreach Coordinator, Mercy works with behavioral health leaders to connect individuals and families with life-changing services. Blending professional expertise with spiritual guidance, her work is rooted in compassion and resilience.
Beyond her professional roles, Mercy actively supports Iman’s Light Foundation, aligning with its mission of healing, awareness, and prevention. Deeply committed to addressing urgent challenges such as the fentanyl crisis, she lends her voice to advocacy, education, and community empowerment. Through ILF, Mercy extends her dedication to creating spaces of hope and connection, inspiring collective healing and strengthening communities for a brighter future.

Dunia Cuneo
Dunia is a dynamic human resources professional, dedicated educator, and impassioned community activist. With over 25 years of experience, she combines deep industry knowledge in corporate and public human resources with academic research, teaching courses in organizational development and equitable labor practices at the university level. She is a strategic leader known for implementing initiatives that foster inclusive workplace cultures and improve employee engagement and retention.
Beyond her professional roles, she is a recognized advocate for social justice, volunteering her time to support Iman’s Light Foundation, a nonprofit organizations dedicated to bringing awareness and prevention of drug usage. She leverages her HR acumen to mentor emerging leaders and drive systemic change within her community. Dunia Cuneo holds an MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She minor in Industrial Psychology and is driven activist and ethical leader.

Brittany DeMeo
Brittany began working with Iman’s Light Foundation because she's seen firsthand how devastating the fentanyl crisis has become in our communities. Too many lives—especially young ones—are being stolen by this deadly substance, often without people even realizing the risk. She felt called to be part of an organization that shines a light on these dangers, spreads awareness, and empowers families with knowledge and resources that can save lives. Through this work, she hopes to honor those that we have lost and help prevent others from experiencing the same heartbreak.

Public Relations & Sponsor Development Director
Libby L. Calero
Libby is the proud daughter of a Cuban political prisoner, came to Miami at a young age. Inspired by her late father’s values of resilience, compassion, and justice, she was raised to lead, speak up, and always help others. With over 25 years of experience in hospitality, event planning, sales, and public relations, Libby has worked alongside major celebrities like DJ Irie and Jamie Foxx, becoming a recognized figure in Miami’s nightlife. Her event work includes the Winter Music Conference, Little Lighthouse Foundation, and many high-profile industry functions. She is also a medical assistant and licensed Florida Realtor. As a mother of three, Libby joined this cause after witnessing the growing crisis surrounding mental health and the deadly impact of fentanyl in her community. With unwavering faith, passion, and a “never give up” spirit, she is committed to saving lives through Iman’s Light Foundation, and will use her talent to bring this cause to the highest level.

Technical Director
Johnny M. Leon
Johnny brings technical leadership qualities to the board, with over 35 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He works for the world's largest IT company helping businesses simplify IT, ensure with cybersecurity, and improve their customer experience. His role at ILF is focused on eCommerce and online presence. The same passion he has for his customers, Johnny brings to the Foundation. Having done charitable work with orphans in Nepal, he has seen first-hand how vulnerable children can be to the vast dangers of illicit drugs. Despite the Foundations’ noble mission, the fight against children’s access and use of harmful and addictive substances is a war and eh sees ILF front and center combating it. Johnny is proud to be one of its soldiers to protect and educate our children on the dangers of drugs, especially Fentanyl. Johnny is committed to utilizing technology to enhance the impact and reach of the Foundation.

Victor H. Jinete
Victor, known as Vic The Kid or Vic The Kid “El Sucio,” is a rising Latin music artist and founding member of Los Sucios. Fusing Latin and Latin Pop rhythms, he gained recognition with releases like Sucia (Que Ricas Son) and Veteranas Like It, quickly becoming a beloved figure for his bold style, humor, and high-energy performances. From local festivals to sold-out clubs, his music creates lasting connections with audiences. In 2025, he released Miami Party Hits and the hit single El Lechón, cementing his place in the genre. For the Foundation, Victor is deeply committed to creating content that will make a difference in the lives of children the Foundation serves. He believes ILF’s platform can bring awareness, hope, and joy, and he volunteers his time to support prevention efforts. For him, success is not only about music but also about protecting and empowering the next generation.

Jackeline is a nationally respected fundraising strategist and nonprofit advisor with 25+ years of success across corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors. She has raised over $80 million for causes from health equity to disaster relief, advancing partnerships at the American Red Cross and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Foundation. As a consultant, she equips mission-driven organizations with strategies and tools for lasting impact. She volunteers with Iman’s Light Foundation, driven by her passion for protecting families and empowering youth.

Psychology Advisor
Naylin Rizo, LMHC
Naylin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 14 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and substance use concerns. Known for her collaborative and compassionate approach, she empowers clients to build confidence, resilience, and healthier relationships. As Advisory Committee Chair for Iman’s Light Foundation, Naylin advances initiatives in mental health awareness, prevention, and community outreach, reflecting her lifelong dedication to healing, advocacy, and building stronger communities.

Nicolas S. Nobrega
Nicolas, originally from Peru, is studying Cybersecurity at Florida International University. Passionate about real-world issues, he joined the Foundation to raise awareness about the fentanyl crisis devastating communities, especially youth. Believing education is a powerful tool, he works to inform others, share resources, and support prevention efforts. For Nicolas, it’s about more than statistics—it’s about ensuring people feel informed, supported, and protected.
