Miramar recognizes awareness and remembrance

The foundation took part in the September 3 ceremony at Miramar City Hall recognizing fentanyl awareness. The proclamation supports a shared commitment to prevention and remembering lives lost.

Correspondence with the Mexican American Council documents workshops with its students and team.

Early-prevention education at DCF

Dr. Mari Carmen Rodriguez presented on behalf of Iman’s Light Foundation at the Southern Regional Behavioral Health Interagency Collaboration meeting on April 14, 2026. The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) listed her among the presenters on Education on Early Prevention in its April 16 follow-up materials.
